Fire guts Labadi Beach Hotel

Fire Thursday morning gutted some parts of the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra. 

The fire is reported to have started from the conference room of the hotel and spread to the main kitchen and would have affected other parts of the facility had it not been for the timely intervention of the National Fire Service. 

The personnel were able to put out the fire in less than an hour. 

GBC’s reporter Nathaniel Nartey visited the scene and reports that there were no casualties and employees were all evacuated to safety.
