Tema Port Expansion Project to begin October 1

The Tema Port Expansion Project will begin on the 1st of October this year. 

The project expected to be completed in 2019 is valued at $1.5 billion. 

It will expand trade in-flows and links across West Africa. 

The Director- General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, GPHA, Richard Anamoo, speaking at a News conference in Tema, said Meridian Port Services has secured funds to execute the project.
