NPP 2016 presidential candidate defends promises The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has defended his promises in the ongoing political campaign. He says he is capable of fulfilling all his promises including the one district one factory, one village one dam, and free senior high school policy. Addressing thousands of jubilant party supporters in Tamale this evening, Nana Addo said the nation has enough resources to enable him fulfill his ambitious promises. He said the NDC administration has reversed the economic fortunes of the nation and called on Ghanaians to vote for him in December to enable him correct the wrong of the NDC. Nana Addo’s main rival in the NPP flag bearer race, Alan Kyeremanteng, dismissed claims of infrastructural development by the NDC saying the NPP constructed more than seven thousand kilometers of roads within eight years. He said the NDC administration has constructed three thousand kilometers in the last eight years and asked Ghanaians to compare the two records and choose the NPP in December. Nana Addo and the NPP are on a four day campaign tour of the Northern Region and has so far addressed rallies in Bunkpurugu, Nalerigu, Nakpanduri, Walewale and Tamale. GBC
