GBC Holds Evaluation Meeting In Kumasi Directors of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC) are meeting in Kumasi to enable management evaluate operations and activities of the Corporation from January to June this year. The meeting is being participated also by all the 11 Regional Directors while the Political Broadcast Committee led by Ebenezer Ampaabeng ,and the Television Collection Team are using the platform to update management on the state of affairs of the two projects. The Directors of Television, Radio, Marketing, Internal Audit, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Engineering and Technical Production will share with the participants the achievements, challenges as well as the key initiatives of their respective Divisions in the first six months of this year while indicating their goals for the remaining period of the year. In her opening remarks, the Acting Director General of GBC, Mrs. Francisca Ashitey Odunton, who also gave a report on the current state of affairs of the Corporation, called for trust, partnership and inclusiveness among the rank and file to enable GBC progress. The Head of the TV License Collection Team, Reverend Ebenezer Botwe, who is also the Acting Director of Finance, disclosed that very soon, an initiative code-named 'Manual Collection Agency' will be launched to enable registered individuals and Agencies to also collect the License Fee to make the payment easier. He said so far, about 99 interested individuals and Agencies have applied for consideration for the TV License Collection. GBC
