Ghana Cautioned To Monitor Donor Investment In Agric Sector Food security experts have noticed a thin line between agriculture and poverty eradication. The problem is closing the gap to realize results in the quality of investment channeled into the sector. Though government appears to commit considerable funds into the sector, strategic mechanisms to track its proper utilisation are missing. At a national stakeholders’ dialogue in the agriculture sector in Accra, donor partners say if care is not taken, Ghana could lose international funding into the sector due to the absence of positive evidence in the lives of people especially the rural poor.
