COTVET supports 46 apprentices in Wa

Forty-six apprentices from the informal sector in the Wa municipality of the Upper West Region have received tools and equipment from the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training COTVET through its Development of Skills for industry Projects and the District Bursary Scheme. 

The equipment worth one hundred and two thousand Cedis [GH¢102,000] is to empower the trainees to become productive in their fields of operation. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Wa Municipal Coordinator of Technical and Vocational Education Training TVET of the Ghana Education Service, Rashid Yakubu said COTVET has also assisted each of the masters of the beneficiaries with two thousand cedis [GH¢2,000] to oversee the training.
