Improvement of election credibility linked to robust national identification system Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Charlotte Osei, has made a strong case that the improvement of election credibility in Africa is hinged on the establishment of a robust national identification system. She said most countries on the continent have weak national identification systems which gravely affect the creation of credible voter registers. Speaking at a UNDP policy forum in Accra, Mrs Osei said this weakness also affects the credibility of Electoral Management Systems in Africa. GBC
