Coalition Against ECG Concession threatens to sue government

The Coalition Against ECG Concession has threatened to take legal action if government does not rescind its decision to give out ECG on concession. 

Speaking on ‘Behind The News,’ a member of the group, Saaka Salia said the group has planned a number of activities including going to court on the matter since they perceive a sense of fraud in the whole arrangement. 

A Communication Specialist at the Ministry of Energy, Edward Bawa said he appreciates the concerns of the group but maintains that government is doing everything possible to provide an efficient and reliable energy system for the country.
