13 Colleges of Education receive grant to improve teaching and learning

Thirteen Colleges of Education have received a grant of 1.3 million cedis to implement innovative concepts to improve the quality of teaching in basic schools. 

The grant was given by UKAid in partnership with the Challenge Fund For Transforming Teacher Education and Learning, T-TEL. 

Speaking at the signing of the grant in Accra, the Deputy Minister of Education, in Charge of Tertiary, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, said the grant came at an opportune time to help improve and transform teaching and learning in the Colleges of Education.
