Political Science lecturer says a credible democracy is one that is rooted free, fair and transparent elections A Lecturer at the Political Science Department of the University of Ghana, Dr. Aggrey Darko, says a credible democracy is one that is rooted in free, fair and transparent elections acceptable by all stakeholders. Speaking at a public forum on credible elections organised by the "Let My Vote Count Alliance" in Accra, Dr. Aggrey Darko said in a democratic dispensation everybody who qualifies irrespective of his background must be given the opportunity to participate in the electoral process. He said this will ensure acceptability and integrity of the outcome of the polls. GBC
