Shun Hate Speech And Personal Attacks – Political Analyst

A Political Analyst, Dr Kingsley Adjei of the University of Cape Coast says, political leaders and their followers should shun hate speech and personal attacks both on air and political platforms as the electioneering reaches its peak. 

In his view, tolerance must be the watch word in a bid to promote and maintain national peace and unity. 

Speaking on GBC’s current affairs programme ‘Focus,’ Dr Adjei reminded politicians of the need to focus on issue based and progressive campaign to get the electorate well informed about the choices they make. 

The Deputy Director of Elections of NDC, Bede Ziedeng, who is also the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Lawra Constituency, says his party does not intend to engage in politics of insults but rather campaign on issues and as he puts it the President has taken the lead. 

A Governance and Business Expert, Prof Emmanuel Osei Asaimah, in his assessment gave thumps up to the present government in the area of infrastructural development. 

He however added that much needs to be done to boost the economy.
