Police investigate robbery attack on GCB bullion van

The Afram Plains Police have begun investigations into a robbery attack on a Ghana Commercial Bank bullion van. 

Speaking on GBC’s ‘Behind The News,’ the Afram Plains District Police commander, Superintendent Isaac Obeng Dompreh said the three robbers engaged the police escort in a shoot-out which claimed the life of the bullion van driver. 

He said the police and other occupants of the empty van have been treated and discharged. He indicated that the police have made some progress in the preliminary investigations.
