Media practitioners asked to acquaint themselves with migration protocols The Director of Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy, LECIAD, Prof. Henrietta Mensa-Bonsu, has charged media practitioners to acquaint themselves with migration protocols on the continent to be able to educate the public on opportunities in Africa. She said there are opportunities that can be exploited instead of clamouring to go outside the continent. She posited that when journalists are knowledgeable on migration issues, they will be in a better position to educate the public on the dangers of illegal migration, especially to Europe. Prof. Mensah-Bonsu was addressing journalists attending a three day training on Safer Migration under the ECOWAS PROTOCOL on Free Movement. GBC
