NPP calls for unity after Court ruling on Afoko’s suspension

The Acting General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu says the Human Rights court's dismissal of the suit challenging the suspension of Paul Afoko is a victory for the constitution and rule of law. 

He said the ruling also re-emphasises the point that the party used the correct structures to suspend Mr. Afoko. 

Speaking on GBC ‘Behind the News,’ Mr Boadu admonished party faithful not to jubilate over the ruling but work towards uniting the party. 

He also urged supporters of Mr Afoko to put the past behind them and work towards the unity and victory of the NPP. 

Meanwhile, a Pollster Ben Ephson says the NPP should resolve the issues that led to the suspension of Paul Afoko as the party's chairman, otherwise it could result in apathy among its supporters in this year's elections. 

Speaking to GBC’s Agatha Asamoah on ‘Behind the News,’ Mr Ephson said unity in the party after the dismissal of Mr Afoko's suit challenging his suspension will boost its fortune's in the polls.
