New mosque commissioned at Bole A large mosque with the capacity to accommodate a large congregation during daily prayers and for weekly jumma prayers has been commissioned at Bole in the Northern Region. The mosque was built by the Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian Services, ICODEHS, an NGO with funding from the Dubai Charity Association. According to the Chairman of the Council, Sheikh Mustapha Ibrahim, a well has also been constructed in the town to provide water for the people all year round. Sheikh Mustapha Ibrahim expressed delight at the speed with which the projects were executed and said more of such projects would be executed in all parts of the country especially in the deprived parts of the country. Meanwhile ICODEHS has also commissioned wells and mosques at Ablekuma in Greater Accra, as well as Agya Ebusua and Agona Nyakrom in the Central region. GBC
