Accra: New judges and magistrates sworn-in Twelve new Circuit Court Judges and Seven Magistrates have been sworn in at a ceremony in Accra. They took the Oath of Allegiance, Judicial Oath and the Oath of Secrecy administered by the Chief Justice, Mrs Georgina Theodora Wood. The Chief Justice entreated them to work diligently to enhance the image of the judiciary. The Judicial Secretary, Justice Alex Poku-Acheampong, in an address, said in view of the recent judicial scandal following the piece by investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, integrity was a key factor in the selection of the new Circuit Court Judges and Magistrates.
