Current 'stable' power supply will not last - Dr. Amin Adam The Executive Director of the African Centre for Energy Policy, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adams, is convinced that the current stability in the power sector will not last. The reason according to him, is government's indebtedness to the Volta River Authority, VRA. He said if the indebtedness is not settled the operations of VRA will be ineffective and inefficient. Dr. Adams was speaking at the second edition of the Television Africa's Business summit in Accra. Dr. Amin Adam said even though government is restructuring the debts owed to VRA, there is the need for a financial recovery programme for utility companies to make them independent. GBC
