SILDEP, TEERE embark on voter education campaigns in Upper East and West Regions

The Social Initiative For Literacy and Development Program, SILDEP, in collaboration with TEERE has been working at ensuring maximum citizen participation in the electoral process in both the Upper East and Upper West Regions. 

Even though, their work has been characterized by some challenges, strategies adopted have contributed to achieving results in voter education campaigns. 

Executive Director of SILDEP, Moses Luri, told Radio Ghana's Rebecca Ekpe that they adopted the approaches using existing community structures, house to house approach and also spoke to the people in their own language.
