Army chief of staff assures of military professionalism during elections The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Obed Boamah Akwa has assured the Military`s resolve to work professionally to enhance the peace and security in the country in the run up to the December polls. He said the armed forces will be on the sidelines monitoring events and will react appropriately to provide support for the public in national emergencies and crisis. He said his outfit is not happy with the rising political tension in the country and charged the general public to be mindful of their utterances.
