Health Ministry gears up to expand radiography work force

The Ministry of Health has announced plans to expand Radiography training and education to address the shortage of radiography workforce in the country.

In line with this, the Ministry is encouraging private training institutions to train more professional radiographers to meet the increasing demand.

The Sector Minister, Alex Segbefia, announced this in a speech read for him at the 5th Biennial National Congress and Scientific Conference of the Ghana Society of Radiographers in Tamale.
