IDEG Launches 2016 Election Situation Rooms To Monitor Results

As part of activities to ensure a peaceful free and credible election this year, the Institute for Democratic Governance, IDEG, in collaboration with the Civic Forum Initiative, CFI, has launched the 2016 Election Situation rooms to monitor and report on issues pertaining to the elections, including the results. 

Chairman of the CFI, Major Gen Carl Coleman, says the situation rooms will rely on regional coordinators to accomplish its work. 

GBC’s correspondent Nathaniel Nartey tells us that the situation rooms will compliment efforts of the EC and serve as a source of information.
