Are public buildings disability friendly? August 8 marks exactly ten years since the Disability Act was given a Presidential ascent. All public buildings were given ten years to be made disability friendly while new buildings were mandated to have facilities for the disabled. The President of the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations, GFD, Yaw Ofori Debrah told Radio Ghana that most public buildings are still not disability compliant.
