La Dadekotopon bans noise making ahead of Homowo

The La Dadekotopon Municipal Assembly has placed a traditional ban on noise making in some key areas ahead of this year’s celebration of Homowo in the La Paramount area. 

The ban which takes effect from August 8 to September 2 will be effective between the hours of 4pm to 6pm every day. 

The affected areas include, Shiashie, Bawaleshi, Okponglo, Mpehuasem, Ogbojo, Ashalley Botwe, Agbogba, Nkwantana Atiman, Adentan and Teiman. 

Other affected areas are Abotsiman, Frafraha, Amanfro, Ashieyie, Maala Jorn, Oyarifa, Amrahia and Ayi Mensah. 

In view of this, the La Dadekotopon Municipal Assembly has asked all churches, hotels, eateries and other business entities to take note and comply accordingly. 

They say the ban on noise making is to allow for a peaceful La Homowo.
