US Dollar still tops the world's "currency pyramid"-Author of Currency Power


A professor of International Political Economy at the University of California, Benjamin Cohen, is of the view that the US Dollar is still at the top of the worlds "currency pyramid" and continues to offer advantages "no other currency" can offer.

Professor Benjamin Cohen who is also the author of Currency Power: "Understanding Monetary Rivalry" said China had already overtaken the United States in terms of trade, and its currency. Adding that the Renminbi, could also become dominant in the future.
