State Enterprises Commission to review financial statement of all State Enterprises

The State Enterprises Commission in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, ICAG, will review the financial statement of all State Owned Enterprises, SOE`s, beginning next month. 

The move is to ensure that about 40 SOE`s meet International Financial Reporting Standards. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, after an engagement with representatives of some SOE`s, the Ministry of Finance and ICAG in Accra, the Executive Chairman of the State Enterprises Commission, Dr. Camynta Baezie, said the practice of the SOE`s affects government's purse and the country`s credibility on the international market.

He indicated that all SOE`s will undergo the review.
