EC Extends Re-Registration Of Deleted Names Of NHIS Registrants

The Electoral Commission (EC) has extended by one week the re-registration of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) card holders and others who missed out on the limited registration exercise starting from Friday the 5th to the 12th of August. 

The decision was arrived at, at an emergency Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting in Accra.  

Speaking to GBC's Radio Ghana, Deputy Public Relation Officer (PRO) at the EC, Yusif Ayuba, said the EC and the political parties took the decision following concerns from stakeholders.
