TUC partners SSNIT to construct offices for Ghana Labour College The Trades Union Congress Ghana, in partnership with SSNIT is to construct a 20 million cedi ultra-modern five-storey building for the Ghana Labour College at Ridge in Accra. The ground breaking took place Tuesday to kick start the project which is expected to be completed in two years. The facility will provide the infrastructure needed to meet the modern training needs of workers leaders and others interested in labour studies. The Secretary General of the TUC-Ghana, Kofi Asamoah said the facility when completed will boost trade union activities to enhance workers contribution to National Productivity and Development. The Deputy Director General of SSNIT in-charge of Investment and Development, Noel Addo said the Trust is assisting the TUC in the project in furtherance of workers' partnership for quality training in industrial relations. Mr Addo said the project is to acknowledge the support of Ghanaian workers to SSNIT as it also coincides with SSNIT`s 50 Anniversary. GBC
