Twenty Five Percent Reduction In Price Of Aviation Fuel Takes Effect

Following the announcement by President John Mahama of a twenty (20) percent reduction in the price of Aviation fuel, the National Petroleum Authority [NPA], after a detailed analysis, has announced a reduction of 25 percent in the price of aviation fuel effective Wednesday. 

The reduction is expected to make Ghana more competitive and the country with the second lowest priced aviation fuel in the West African sub-region. 

The NPA is thereby hopeful that the airlines will let the reduction reflect in airfares especially domestic ones which have seen some increment in recent times.
