GBC launches programme to telecast three league competitions

The Channel Manager of GTV Sports plus, George Lomotey says GBC is committed to providing more airtime for exciting sporting event to help grow the of viewership of GTV Sports plus and all GBC channels. 

Mr Lomotey said this at the launch of the Super 3 League in Accra Monday. 

The programme which will be telecast live every weekend are German Bundesliga, the Italian league and the Chinese super league. 

According to Mr Lomotey, Ghanaians are enthusiastic to watch beautiful football when the new soccer season gets underway in a few days. 

Deputy Chinese Ambassador to Ghana,Shun Lee, said the telecast of the Chinese league will provide a platform for cultural exchange between Ghana and China.

Launching the programme, the Human Resource Manager of GBC, John Osei Kora-Asare, said GBC relies on TV licence to fund its programmes and it can roll out more exciting programmes if citizens pay their TV licence promptly.
