Aviation fuel goes down by 20 percent Ghana is expected to reduce the price of aviation fuel by 20 percent. This follows an appeal by industry players to President Mahama for a reduction in Ghana's aviation fuel which is the most expensive in the sub-region and airlines prefer to refill their aircraft in neighbouring countries. This they said is also a major strain on their operations. President Mahama who announced the decision when he inaugurated the newly refurbished and expanded International Arrival Hall at the Kotoka International Airport and the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority's Training School in Accra, said, the reduction is in line with government's vision to make Ghana an aviation hub in West Africa.
