Former President Rawlings, Kufuor at President Mahama's mother funeral

Final funeral rites for the late  Hajia Abiba Nnaba, mother of President John Dramani Mahama, has been held at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra. 

 Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur and his wife, Matilda, former Presidents Rawlings and Kufuor, Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho, former First Lady Ernestina Naadu Mills, Chief of Staff, Julius  Debrah, MPs, MMDCEs, past and serving heads of the Security Services, flagbearers and leadership of the political parties, the Clergy, traditional authorities, Diplomatic Corp and a cross-section of the public attended the funeral to commiserate with the President and his siblings.  

In a tribute, President Mahama attributed who he is today to his mother`s strong sense of compassion, tolerance and patience.
