'No survivors' in Texas hot air balloon crash

A hot air balloon with 16 people on board has crashed in the US state of Texas. 

The balloon came down near Lockhart, south of the city of Austin, after catching fire.  

It is not known whether there are any injuries or fatalities.  

A Federal Aviation Administration  spokeswoman said the balloon came down in a field this afternoon after catching fire.

The National Transportation Safety Board is expected to take over the inquiry.
