Parliament extends sitting by one week

Parliament is expected to go on recess next week Friday. 

The Deputy Majority, Alfred Agbesi said this on the floor as he presented business statement of the house for next week. 

The house was expected to go on recess today (July 29) but due to its work load, it is now going on recess next week Friday.
