President Mahama urged not to intervene in ruling of Montie convicts

The Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church, Reverend Setorwu Kwadzo Ofori, has appealed to the president not to intervene in the Supreme Court sentencing of the two Montie FM panelists and host who threatened some judges in the country. 

He said the president's involvement in the matter will be interpreted as an interference in the functions and mandate of the judiciary. 

Reverend Kwadzo Ofori told GBC’s Radio Ghana in an interview that, the Judges have already given their ruling in their power and knowledge of the law and this goes beyond any political office.
