Stakeholders call for uniform identification system Stakeholders at a consultative forum in Accra have again stressed the need for the establishment of an integrated National Biometric Identification System that ensues the issuing of a multi-purpose single ID Cards for Ghanaians. The forum organized by the National Development planning Commission NDPC which forms part of the processes of developing the 40 year long term plan agreed to take timely steps to have the integrated ID system by 2018. Welcoming the Participants to the meeting the Chairman of the NDPC Professor Kwesi Botchwey said a National Identification System is fundamental to the development agenda of the country.
