Black Satellites fail to qualify for 2017 African Youth Championship 

Ghana's under twenty national team, Black Satellites, failed to qualify for the 2017 African Youth Championship slated for Lusaka, Zambia, despite beating their Senegalese counterparts 1-0 at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast yesterday.  

The Satellites crashed out on a 2-3 on aggregate, having lost the first leg 3-1 to the Young Terranga Lions in Dakar a fortnight ago. 

When the final whistle sounded, the Ghanaian players broke into tears while the Senegalese hugged each other in celebration.
