Real Madrid claim Champions League crown on penalties in Milan

The teams could not be separated after extra time, and Real Madrid go on to win their 11th Champions League in a repeat of the 2014 result. 

Christiano Ronaldo scored the winning penalty in the shoot-out, but it was lost for Atletico by Juanfran, who hit the post with his team's 4th spot kick. 

Sergio Ramos starts the scoring from close range from a Tony Kroos free kick after 15 minutes

Yannick Carrasco equalised for Atletico in the 79th minute

Antoine Griezmann missed a penalty for Atletico at the start of the second half.

Augusto Fernandez was replaced by Yannick Carrasco for Atletico at half time.

Carvajal booked for foul on Griezmann, later substituted after an injury. Replaced by Danilo

Fernando Torres booked after an hour of play.
