Nestle Ghana advocates need to practice healthy eating The Country Manager of Nestle Ghana, Freda Duplan, has reiterated the need for Ghanaians to practice healthy eating habits to prevent die-related diseases. She said breast milk is the best food for newborns and encouraged lactating mothers to embrace exclusive breastfeeding to promote the wellbeing of their infants. Quoting the World Health Organization, she said for children to growth up healthy and develop to their full potential, it is crucial that they get good nutrition during the first thousand days of their lives from the moment they are conceived up to their second birthday. Mrs. Duplan who was speaking at a capacity building workshop for selected journalists in Accra also urged Ghanaians to practice healthy eating habits to prevent deadly diseases.
