Police considering blocking social media on Election Day

The IGP, John Kudalor says the Police are considering blocking social media on Election Day. 

Clarifying the statement on GBC’s “Behind the News,” Director of Public Affairs of the Service - Superintendent Cephas Arthur said the police administration believes the decision, when concluded will check miscreants who will use social media to cause fear and panic on election day. 

He said the police will look at the negative and positive sides of the ban before taking a final decision.
