Muslim mob attacks Christian homes in Egypt

Seven Christian-owned homes have been ransacked and torched in a province south of Egypt's capital, Cairo, by a Muslim group, following rumours that a Christian man had an affair with a Muslim woman. 

A statement by the local Orthodox Coptic church said the mother of the Christian man was publicly stripped off her clothes during the attack in order to humiliate her, compelling her son to flee the village.
