Ghana Police Service says it is illegal for citizens to construct speed ramps The Ghana Police Service has expressed concern about the rate of speed ramp construction by residents around major roads in the country. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Victor Tandoh says the practice is illegal and that people caught constructing ramps will be prosecuted. He, however cautioned motorists on the highways in the cities to stay within the speed limit of 90 kilometres per hour and 50 kilometres per hour for major roads in residential areas. GBC
