MPs shocked by Abetifi MP's death Members of Parliament have expressed shock at the death of their colleague MP for Abetifi Peter Wiafe Pepera. They couldn’t believe the news when it was announced in the media as the late MP was in Parliament last Friday. The Leadership of the House is to visit the residence of the late MP in Accra to commiserate with the family. The Abetifi MP died over the weekend at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness. The Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho directed the leadership Tuesday morning to constitute a delegation to pay first visit to the family. The Minority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu officially informed the House of the demise of the MP after sending some members to the late MPs residence to enquire. The MP for Asawase and Majority Chief Whip, Mohammed Muntaka, also expressed shock at the death of the MP. GBC
