Speaker of Parliament to address AU Prayer and Empowerment Conference The Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho will deliver the key note address at the 13th African Union Day Prayer and Empowerment Conference scheduled for Wednesday 25th May,2016 at the Foyer of the Chamber Block of Parliament, at 9:00am. The Prayer Conference which is a collaborative effort between Africa Mission Incorporated, the Parliament of Ghana and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, is under the theme “Peaceful Election and Economic Progress”. It will be addressed by a team of renowned speakers led by the President of Mission Africa, Dr Kodjo Sumney. Other Speakers are Dr Osei Kofi Darkwa, President of the Ghana Telecommunication University, Pastor Dr Andrews Ewoo (Seventh Day Adventist), Rev.Steve Mensah (General Overseer, Evangelistic Charismatic Ministry) and Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, overseer of the World Wide Miracle Outreach. The programme will feature the Parliamentary staff choir Voices of Democracy”, the Mission Africa Mass Choir, the Immigration Band and the SDA University Choir. GBC
