South Africa Prosecutor to challenge Jacob Zuma corruption ruling State Prosecutors in South Africa are to announce today whether they will reinstate hundreds of corruption charges against President Jacob Zuma. The decision is the UN's response to a court ruling last month which described the decision to dismiss the charges as irrational. The charges relate to a multi billion dollar arms deal. It was dismissed in 2009 an action which opened the way for President Jacob Zuma to win the Presidential election weeks later. SOURCE: BBC news
