Stone blast injures residents at New Budumburum

Residents of New Budumburum in the Central Region have confirmed that one person sustained injuries and a pregnant collapsed following a stone blast in a nearby quarry.

Residents of the area are appealing to the authorities to impress upon the quarry to adopt safer methods in their operations. 

The Chief Executive of the Quarry, Mr Ebenezer Sarpong has denied that his company has been using the wrong technology in its operations.
