E-zwich does not rely on network to function - Archie Hesse

The Chief Executive of the Ghana Inter bank Payment and settlement system, GHIPSS, Archie Hesse has debunked the notion that the E-zwich system only uses network to function efficiently. 

He said the system only uses the network when funds are being loaded onto the card. 

Mr Hesse said the platform is a biometric off line system which can be used without network.
