Yendi Municipality faces imminent water shortage

The Yendi Municipality is facing imminent water shortage as its main source of water,River Daka, has dried up. 

The Ghana Water Company has warned that unless it rains in the next three days, the situation could turn into a full blown crisis.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Yendi, Issah Zakaria told Radio Ghana that, the Assembly has opened up the reserve tank which could finish in a few days. 

He said it will be a disaster if it does not rain.
