The paper says the vigilance of the taskforce has saved the country huge revenue of more than seventy seven thousand dollars and the arrest of over thirty illegal operators. The Ghanaian Times welcomes reports that the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection intends to develop a plan to address the issues of Teenage Pregnancy. The paper says it has on numerous occasions raised concern over the issue which has dire consequences on the nation. The Times calls on parents and guardians to be more vigilant to help deal with the problem. The Daily Heritage adds it voice to calls for unwarranted attacks on journalists to cease. Making reference to this Year's World Press Freedom Day, the paper says in finding more ways of serving the nation, journalists should not lose sight of the fact that their personal security is paramount. The Republic says the reports that Ghana stands to earn as much as thirty eight million dollars from energy exports with 100 megawatts solar plants in the north should be welcomed. The paper is happy that apart from providing livelihoods for about twenty three thousand poor people there will also be an annual reduction of Co2 emission by 40,000 tonnes and the arrest of over thirty illegal operators.
