3rd May, 2016 The Daily Graphic believes that the Tema Oil Refinery's story confirms the fact that with good and innovative management, a determined and sacrificing staff' less government interference and the right policies, State agencies that have become profitable will experience rebound. The paper says the TOR could be a reference point for all struggling SOE's on how to come out of the doldrums and become profitable entities and therefore calls on workers to emulate the sacrifices made by their counterparts at TOR to put those organisations back on winning ways. The Ghanaian Times adds its voice to some concerns raised on the limited voters’ registration and believes that the act of violence should not happen at all. The Times appeals to all Ghanaians to place the nation first in all their endeavours and eschew any acts that have the potential to destabilise it. The Daily Heritage condemns indecent comments of political leaders as the country gears towards the November polls. Making reference to remarks made by the former Minister for Transport, Dzifa Attivor and a recent one made by the vice presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the paper believes these personalities are very much aware of the consequences of such comments but for selfish political reasons, they are prepared to trade the peace of the country for votes. The paper therefore urges politicians to watch their utterances and be interested in preserving Ghana's peace. GBC
