Homosexual Unions Are Unlawful - Foh-Amoaning

The Executive Secretary of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values, Moses Foh-Amoaning, says homosexual unions are unlawful and it is a criminal offense to engage in the act. 

He said the UN Declaration on Human Rights in itself did not state any rights for homosexuals adding that Ghana's constitution was also explicit in respect of the Human Rights provisions. 

Mr Foh-Amoaning said this at one of the Coalition's regional consultative meetings with traditional councils to draw attention to the growing threat of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-sexual, right activism in the country.
